Co-director of EPRI
Ms.
Van Niekerk provides support for the general and
strategic management of EPRI. She serves on the
board of Directors of EPRI and is a founding
member of the institution. Ingrid co-ordinates
the Parliamentary Capacity Building Programme and
tutors the Masters students participating in this
programme. She is also a tutor for the University
of London Programme. Her research interests are
debt and tax policy.
Kenneth
Mac Quene

Co-director of EPRI
Mr. Mac Quene provides support for both economic
research and the strategic management of the
institute. He serves on the board of Directors of
EPRI and is a founding member of the institution.
He directs the Parliamentary Capacity Building
Programme. Mr. Mac Quene also teaches and tutors
both for the Parliamentary Capacity Building
Programme and for other short Economics courses
for various government institutions and NGOs. His
research interests are fiscal policy and
globalisation.

Williams

Office
Administrator
Ms.
Williams is the Office Administrator for EPRI.
She manages all EPRI general office procedures
and is responsible for the smooth operation of
the office. She manages EPRI's database,
co-ordinates all travel arrangements for the
directors of EPRI and researchers, as well as any
participants attending courses hosted by EPRI.
She closely assists the Research Director of EPRI
and assists in organising and preparing for
various workshops, seminars, conferences and
courses that EPRI hosts.

Financial Administrator
Mrs. Everts administers and processes financial
accounting for the office and maintains the
information system. She also assists in preparing
for various workshops, seminars, conferences and
courses that EPRI hosts.

Dr. Michael Samson

Director of Research
Dr. Samson is the Director of Research at EPRI
and is also an Associate Professor of economics
at the Williams College Center for Development
Economics in the United States. He serves on the
Board of Directors of EPRI and directs all
research projects. He provides capacity-building
support for parliamentarians, provincial and
national governments, NEDLAC, church and
non-governmental organisations, and academic
institutions. He specialises in financial and
macroeconomic aspects of economic development.
Lucinda
Van Eyssen

Receptionist/Office Assistant
Ms. Van Eyssen provides general administrative
support to the Directors, administrators and
researchers. She is responsible for the control
and filing of various authorisation forms and
maintains the database of supplies and all office
equipment. She also assists in preparing for
various workshops, seminars, conferences and
courses that EPRI hosts.
